Kazzinc Contract - Gold recovery from zinc Ust-Kamenogorsk lead and zinc Combine, a division of Kazzink in Kazakhstan, placed an order for five Falcon SB2500 batch concentrators in April 2000 to recover FINE gold from zinc plant tailings. These machines have now been installed for over one year, producing metallurgical results superior to the 60G machines they replaced. In addition, spare parts costs have been negligible, amounting to <0.01 USD per tonnes processed. These new generation Falcon's have set a new standard for enhanced gravity concentrators! Joint-stock company Kazzink was created in January of 1997 resulting from amalgamation of companies of Kazakhstan producing complex ore, zinc, lead and metal by-products. The Company represents a production entity with combined properties of joint-stock companies Ust-Kamenogorsk Lead & Zinc Combine (UKLZC), Leninogorsk Polymetallic Metal Combine (LPMC) and Zyryanovsk Lead Combine (ZLC). The Company includes five mines, three mills, two zinc plants with total capacity of about 260 thousand tons of metal, zinc plant with total capacity 160 thousand tons, sulfuric acid production shops, refining, rare metal production, service plant and other types of production. Total number on staff is about 26 thousand people. The production facilities of the Company are located in East Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Company is producing several dozens of product names. The company is the main producer of lead, zinc, gold and silver in Kazakhstan and one of the largest producers in CIS countries.
