Falcon Concentrators purchases Sepro Mineral Processing International!

Falcon Concentrators is pleased to announce the purchase of Sepro Mineral Processing International (SMPI).  SMPI is a UK based company, in operation for over 20 years, providing pneumatic tyre driven mills and scrubbers into the mining industry.  These well proven high quality mills and scrubbers enjoy lower capital costs and shorter delivery lead times than others currently available on the market. In addition, SMPI provides complete equipment packages including screening, classification and materials handling. The combined company will now offer a host of products and services from individual pieces of equipment, through to milling and classification modules, and finally complete gravity only plants.

The newly formed entity will operate under the name “Sepro Systems” and will encompass all of the equipment and services that the two previous companies provided.

The team here at Sepro Systems looks forward to working with you all in the future.

Falcon C Series

Operating at up to 300 G's this product range produces a continuous stream of concentrate (or heavies) at mass yields of up to 40%, variable according to application requirements. Fine particle feed slurries are separated into high and low density products without fluidization water. A full range of sizes is available.

Principal applications include scavenging and pre-concentrating fine metals and minerals. Maximum recommended particle feed size is 1 mm. Other applications include:Tantalum Recovery and Tantalite Recovery graphic

  • heavy minerals
  • iron ore
  • suphides
  • coal
  • tantalum
  • base metals - gold, silver, nickel, copper, zinc, lead and tin.

OPERATION

The Falcon Model C units are suitable for a wide range of minerals and fine feed applications requiring low to high weight recoveries. Feed stream particles are subjected to gravitational forces of up to 300 G's and are segregated according to effective specific gravity along the smooth spinning rotor wall. The heaviest layers / particles are continuously bled off at a variable controlled rate through a series of unique plane mass flow hoppers and patented throttling nozzles. The continuous discharge Falcon Model C requires no feed interruptions or added process water. The adjustable fraction of heavy particles bled off are effectively de-slimed and partially de-watered.

The Falcon Automation Package (AUTOPAC) controls the heavies discharge, rinsing and other operating functions.

AUTOPAC

AUTOPAC'S or "Programmable Automation Controllers" control the operating parameters of Falcon Concentrators. Each parameter is changeable and can be displayed by the user without stopping the machine or learning any special programming techniques. It is also possible to integrate these features into any process control system.
